8 months, 9 months, where does the time go????

Practicing my walking with Grandpa

climbing stairs
So much has happened over the past month that I really don't even know where to begin. Sorry it's been so long, but I'm now back to work and I just don't have the time I used to. So, where do I begin?

Mason is now 9 months old (and a week). He was weighed today and is 20 pounds 10 ounces and 27.5 inches long. He's just growing up so fast. He is crawling very fast, standing up all by himself, pulling himself up on all furniture, walking holding on to furniture and crawling up (and falling down) the stairs!!! I can't even begin to tell you how busy he is. Chris and I can barely take our eyes off of him as he has become quite the little monkey. He absolutely loves cords (extension cords, lamp cords, fan cords; anything electrical) and he likes to play with electrical outlets. Maybe he'll be an electrician one day; not a bad way to earn a living! He is also now in love with Molly. He loves to chase her, pull her hair and play with her paws. Molly however, does not think this is as much fun as Mason does! Mason even likes to take drinks from Molly's water dish (this may be the reason that Molly's dishes were moved to the back entrance)!
Mason has also had a busy August. He's been on his first quad trip, lots of walks and hikes, and has been able to spend lots of time with mom and dad as we were both on holidays. Some of Mason's new interests include balloons, cheerios, Potty Elmo, music (he loves to dance), hide and seek and tag with dad, eating anything that mom or dad are eating, giving slimy, open mouth kisses, standing up in his crib and yelling, saying "daddy", playing with other kids (especially his cousins) and playing with all of his toys; his favorite is the ball.

The other new goings on here is that we finally moved last weekend. We're in our new house and really love it. We still have lots of work to do, but we really like having the extra space. As we get a little more settled, I'll take some pictures and post them.
Also, I am now back at work full time and Chris is at home being Mr. Mom. He's going to take the last 3 months of our maternity leave and return to work on November 9. When Chris goes back, I'll go down to part time and Mason will be with a nanny with Caryse and Reese 3 days a week.
Well, I guess that kind of catches you all up on our life here in GP. I hope everyone is doing well.
Until next time,
Love, Jenn
