Spring once again...

I'm sure you're all as happy as we are that Spring has finally arrived. We now spend as much time as possible outside and love every minute of it. Mason is using his tractor from Christmas and can peddle his bike all by himself. He loves the park, especially the ladder that he can now climb, and thinks bugs are gross ("ewwww" are his exact words)! He is so chatty these days, quite bossy ("don't you dare" and "stop that" are a few familiar phrases). Yes, we have definitely hit the terrible two's, although it's not all bad. He is quite the polite little boy, says please and thank you, and even stopped on his bike the other day to talk to a girl. "So, well, how's day girl? Nice to meet you. Want to play?", was his little conversation!
Mason is still in gymnastics every Saturday and still goes to a day home three days each week. He loves our new lady, Marie, and asks to go to her house on his days off. This makes me feel really happy because I know he likes it.
Otherwise, things are just normal around here. Chris is done coaching, but still busy with outdoor education and the camping and fishing trips that that involves. I'm still working, 3 days a week, and doing a little scrap booking club once a month with a friend. I'm also running again which feels great. My first little race is this weekend, just 8km and then I think I'll do another half marathon in August.
Around the house, it's just about time to begin yard work. We'd like to do a deck this summer and plant a vegetable garden. We need to re-seed the backyard, stain the fence, and maybe do a little landscaping.
Mason's big boy room is now finished. These pictures just don't do it justice as I turned out really well.
Anyhow I hope you enjoy these new pictures and I hope to see and talk to you all soon,

Lots of love,
Jenn

These are the 2 pictures that Grandma Tannis painted for Mason. You can't really see the detail, but the craine and the delivery trucks are Mason company, Chris, Mason and I are in the car, and on one of the mountains, if you look very closely, Grandpa Dave and Grandma Tannis are hiking!
