Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween, and if you live in Grande Prairie, welcome to winter!
Well, here we are in week 38 and down to the last few weeks of my pregnancy. As we near the end, we're getting really excited and can't wait to meet this little one.
Over the past few weeks I'm still keeping busy with all of my projects, however, my energy levels are starting to decline and I'm beginning to learn the meaning of "taking it easy"!
Last week I had a professional photographer come to the house to take some pregnancy pictures. It was a really fun afternoon and I feel (ok, I know this sounds dorky), but that baby and I got some great bonding time.
That same night, my friend Jacquie also threw me a labour shower. It was so much fun; I am so lucky to have so many great friends here in Grande Prairie. The girls spoiled me with gifts for my actual labour; a "going home outfit", some c.d.'s, a gift certificate for new pajamas and slippers, magazines... They also did a plaster cast mold of my belly. One of the girls at work is going to paint it for me after the baby is born. If we have a boy, she'll paint it with bugs, if it's a girl, she'll paint it with flowers.
Other than that, I'm just trying to being patient and to keep busy. So, until next time, enjoy the pictures and we'll talk soon.
Jenn
