We celebrated Thanksgiving a little late this year (just by one week). We had the
Trydals and
Gallups over for dinner. Chris and I did the whole turkey dinner. For our first try I think it turned out pretty good. The best part about family gatherings is watching the kids play. They are all getting old enough that they actually do play, they don't just sleep or lie on a mat! The next few years are going to be so much fun for these cousins.

Thanks to Grandpa Grue, Mason has learned how to flush the toilets. Needless to say, all bathroom doors are now closed at all times. He has also learned to unroll the toilet paper. Such fun!! I can't help but wonder, if this is what Mason is like at 10 months, what are the terrible twos going to hold in store...

Of course we
couldn't let the beauty of the fall season go by without a photo shoot of our little man. Here are a few of my favorites.

For the actual Thanksgiving weekend, Mom and Dad came up for a short visit. It was so nice to have them around and I know that Mason loved every minute of it. He showed Grandpa his toys and helped both Grandma and Grandpa open their belated birthday presents.

It's official, Mason is now walking. Well, I guess that depends on your definition of "walking" but if 5-6 steps in a row counts, then he's walking. Mom and Dad were here visiting last weekend when he began talking 1 step at a time. Now he's up to 5 or 6 and will go all by himself.
Love Jenn
