Happy 1st Birthday Mason

Sorry it's been so long. We've been pretty busy here in GP. In this past month, Mason has been baptised, turned 1 and begun going to a dayhome. Grandma Grue came to visit for 10 awesome days and Grandpa Grue was able to come up for 4 days (just in time for the birthday party).

Turning 1 was a big deal around here. On Mason's actual birthday, Grandma baked a delicious birthday cake. We sang Happy Birthday, ate the cake, and opened a few gifts. Wouldn't you know that when Mason ate his cake, it was the first time in his life that he was careful to not get any food on his clothes or on his face!!!

Mason was truly spoiled for his birthday. We now have to move again just to make room for his toys (just kidding, but it is getting pretty crowded again). I couldn't even tell you what his favorite gift was because he's having so much fun playing with everything.

For his party, we had a Cowboy celebration. All of the kids got cowboy hats and deputy badges (Mason was of course the only Sheriff). We had a house full of friends and family. Mason was a little overwhelmed with all of the choas, but I think a good time was had by all.

The 2 birthday boys and thier Grandpas (Reese of course turned 1 on the 18th)

I just can't believe how fast the year has gone. As I look back on the entries to this blog, there have been so many amazing moments. It's been really hard for me to bring Mason to a dayhome because of all of the fun we've had together. I know it's for the best but... growing up is hard (for mom anyway)!

Talk to you all soon,
Love Jenn
