Happy Belated Halloween

I know it's been too long again. Since my last update, we've had Thanksgiving and Halloween, the leaves have changed and now they're gone. Winter is on it's way...
Around here we've been very busy with work, day home, and regular playing and family stuff. To ring in the fall days, Grandpa and Grandma Trydal and us took Mason to the park to play in the leaves and collect a few for some art projects. It was a cool day but we had lots of fun and made some neat pictures with our collection of leaves.

Mason has also been growing like a week and talking up a storm. He will repeat everything a person says (quite well I might add) and is beginning to speak in a few short sentences. "I did it" has got to be one of the cutest things he says right now.

Since I was in Edmonton at the end of September, we decided to stay home for Thanksgiving. We had 15 friends over for dinner one day and then had dinner over at Dave and Tannis' another day. It was a great long weekend, and although we missed the family in E-town, it was nice to stay home and relax.
Fortunately, Mom and Dad were able to come for a short visit after the holiday. Mason was in great spirits that weekend and they seemed to have a lot of fun. When he woke up from his nap the day they left, the first thing he did was peek around the corner of his room saying "Nana, Gampa"
Grandpa trying to get Mason to have a nap with him (Good luck Grandpa)!

For Halloween, I tried to get creative and make Mason's costume. He was Dash Incredible; the boy with the super fast super powers! Mason didn't really enjoy being dressed up, he doesn't like candy and he didn't seem to enjoy trick or treating. So... overall I wouldn't say that Halloween was Mason's favorite holiday!! But, we enjoyed watching him run around anyway!
At least one of part of Halloween was fun for Mason; playing with his cousins and his Uncle Gug at the end of a long day!

Oh, and he had lots of fun carving the "punkins"
