Can you believe that summer is already over? But, to be honest, I love fall and I'm already getting excited for the holiday season!!!
Here in GP we've already settled back into the school year. Chris is loving his new job at the high school and I like my job a lot more this year too. Mason is back at Cathy's and is beginning to get more accustomed to a few days away from home each week. The first few weeks were a little rough, but he is doing much better.

Mason may not be ready for school, but that doesn't mean his mommy can't get him all dressed up (including another cool pair of shoes) and take pictures of his first day back at Cathy's!!

Mason is getting old enough now that he is beginning to appreciate playing with other kids. His great buddies Rory and Bretton are so close in age that the 3 of them have a blast together. Here there were having a little dance party. I wish you all could have been there.
As we all know how busy working and being a family can be, Chris and I decided to start a family movie night. Every Friday we watch a movie together and eat popcorn. OK, Chris and I watch the movie (Cars is one of our favorites), Mason eats the popcorn and then runs around and has a blast. This is already the highlight of our week.
And finally, Mason and I flew to Edmonton last week for a very special occasion. Grandma Grue turned 85 and Grandpa and Grandma celebrated their 65th anniversary. We had a little soiree at Karen's house and even the whole Stewart Grue crew were there. It was a great afternoon and so nice to see the Grue's. We miss you guys so much...

Back in Edmonton, Mom, Dad and I took Mason to Chucky Cheese. Although the food was terrible, Mason had so much fun. For $10, he went on enough rides to entertain him for at least an hour (with enough tokens left over for a whole extra visit next time)! His favorite by far was the Bob the Builder ride. Although, Grandpa and Grandma may have had even more fun that Mason.

And no trip would be complete without some cuddle time with Nana. Mason spent a lot of time snuggling in bed with Grandpa and Nana, Abbey and Mila. He sure does love his grandparents!

Hope you're all doing well and enjoying these beautiful fall days. Happy Thanksgiving, take care, and talk to you all soon.
Love, Jenn
