Hello strangers. Sorry it's been so long since the last post but school has started and we all know how that is.
Anyways, things are going great here. I can't believe how well I'm still feeling. In fact, the more that this little baby moves, the more I love being pregnant. I guess I'm getting a little uncomfortable (my back and ribs hurt a little), but it's nothing I can't handle. We're still walking at least once a day and I'm actually eating pretty healthy.
We're both getting pretty excited as we're down to the last 9 weeks or so. All the baby stuff is washed and the nursery is pretty much finished. Mom and Dad brought us a crib a few weeks ago; it's absolutely beautiful.
Grandma Jo is already spoiling her grandchild (grandson according to her). She bought a bunch of baby clothes. However, they were all BLUE. Since Grandpa Dell is convinced he is having a granddaughter, all of the clothes were returned for more neutral colors!!
Chris and I begin our Prenatal classes tomorrow. I'm really excited about them.
I had my 30 week check-up today and Dr. Delacruz gave me some good and some scary news. The good news is, I only have to work until October 20. If things change, I may even be off earlier. I know I just got back to work, but a month off on my own sounds pretty nice. The scary news... seeing the size of my belly, the size mom was a birth (15 pounds for those of you who don't know) and the size of my husband (6 foot 6), we're not looking at a small baby! She's actually sending me for another ultrasound next week to see if we can determine how much the baby is weighing right now. You can all remind me of this in 9 weeks, but this doesn't actually scare me. I'm so excited to be a mom, that I'm still excited about the actual labour.
Anyways, here's a few pictures. My 7 month shot, a picture of me reading to my belly (something I do every night) and a picture of Erin and I (Erin is Chris' sister and due on the same day as me). You might notice the difference in our belly sizes!! Oh well, if I can't laugh about it...
Talk to you all soon,
Love Jenn
