Our little monkey with his little monkey! Just wanted to say a quick hi for the week. Not too much is new here. We're very busy adjusting to life with Mason, which isn't really all that hard. He is such a good baby and we just love him so much.
I am able to drive again so Mason and I have been busy doing lots of Christmas shopping and out visiting friends. Today I went for lunch with the girls and Papa and Mama Trydal babysat for a few hours. It wasn't that hard to let Mason go as I knew he was in pretty good hands. However, I did miss him a lot and made sure to get in some extra cuddle time before putting him down for his afternoon nap.
This past week we also had 2 baby showers; one at work and one at lady's night. Both were very nice and we were completely spoiled. The best part was being able to visit with people I haven't seen in a while.
As cute as Mason is, there isn't much to report in terms of changes since last week; I guess babies this young don't make too many developmental leaps. He is sleeping longer at night, feeding for shorter periods (the nurse said it's because he's becoming a better eater) and is more alert. To Chris and I, this is the best part as we get to spend more time with him. He also smiles a little bit but I have my suspicions that it might be gas!
