Is spring every going to start????

It is nearly the end of March and spring still hasn't sprung here in Grande Prairie. In fact, this was the scene last weekend when we received nearly another 2 feet of the white stuff. It is getting very tiresome and depressing. I just can't wait for the weather to change...

In the meantime, we're all trying to keep occupied by spending time with friends and family (indoors of course). I haven't posted pictures of my beautiful niece and nephew in a long time so I thought I should share. They were over for dinner last weekend and Caryse sure kept Chris and I smiling. At dinner she now says "this is deeeelicious)! Reese is growing like a weed and is now 4 months old and 15 pounds. He is such a sweetie and has the most gentle sounds (unlike his very loud cousin Mason).

Mason has been keeping busy in his new jumperoo which he loves very much. It took him a few days to figure out the whole jumping thing but he's got in now. He loves to jump and talk and scream and grunt. It's pretty cute. Like I mentioned already, Mason is becoming quite the loud little guy. He loves to talk and when he's in a really good mood (which is most of the time), he talks very loudly. I have no idea where he would get this gift of gab, but it's very priceless to hear him ramble on.
I guess the other new thing going on here in G.P. is that Chris and I have officially bought a new house. It's only across the street from us in a new subdivision called Country Side North. It's a 2 storey house with 3 bedrooms (the one without the roof is ours). As the building progresses, I'll keep you posted. On Monday I get to meet with the builder to start choosing the colors and and specifics.

That's all for this week. Until next time...

Love Jenn
