Can you believe that our little Mason is already 7 months old? I was even more emotional than when he turned 6 months old; it just seems that time goes by so quickly and he'll never be a little baby again. I try to enjoy every minute as much as I possibly can because before I know it, he'll be all grown up and these days will be a blur.
OK, enough sappy stuff, this past week was great. Mason was really busy as he had a
play date with his friend Linden, a
barbecue for my staff year end party, a lunch for the end of the school year, Canada Day and finally a pool party today.

For Canada Day Mason got to see his first parade. He loved the marching bands and the bagpipes (just like his Grandma Jo) and seemed to have a great time. He especially loved sitting on Dad's shoulders. My friend Lee and I then took Mason and her son
Bretton to Centre 2000 and
Muskoseepi Park for a carnival, entertainment and balloons. The boys were too young to
participate, but they both enjoying looking around and hearing all of the noises of the day.

Today we had my friend
Jode and her 2 kids, Lee and
Bretton and Erin and the kids over for a pool party. It was a great day and I think the kids had a blast. It was so neat to see Mason interacting with the kids and so excited to watch them all playing. He was smiling the entire afternoon. So, as much as I don't like time passing so quickly, it's so great to see him growing up into a little boy who plays and experiences new things.

Thanks Auntie Erin for the great idea. Mason now has his baths in the laundry hamper (submerged in the tub). It keeps him from falling over and his toys from floating away.
As usual, here's a recap of my favorite things about my little man this month.
1. His awesome personality. He's so funny, always smiling, making loud and very cute noises, and getting into anything he can. Right now he's into snorting and grunting. Too cute!
2. Again, the way he sleeps. He loves to sleep on his belly with his knees tucked under and his little bum in the air.
3. His cuddles (he doesn't cuddle very often so when he does, they're precious)!
Well, keep in touch and talk soon,
Love Jenn
